Melancholy Update

The Christmas celebrations are complete and now we are looking forward to see what the new year has for us! December has been the first full month of having the business running and now we have a pretty clear idea of what it’s going to take to get the business where it needs to be.

This month has had its chellanges on the business and on personal life. It’s the time that’s been the biggest issue. Caleb and I aren’t quite ready to go full time with Melancholy Roasting. In order to get the business to a place where one of us is ready to go full time, we have to put in more time which takes time directly away from our homes. I knew this challenge would come and I’m excited to see the business requiring more time. Instead of just spending all of our time endlessly working, we are trying to find ways to work around our schedules and work more efficiently. It can be hard but our families have handled it so well. I don’t know what we would do without our families helping and supporting our vision. There is good news though! Caleb is working on making some adjustments and will hopefully be able to put some more of his time into Melancholy Roasting. I can’t say how grateful I am to have Caleb working so hard on our business! There should be some updates in January!

I also wanted to share some awesome news really quick. We’ve been working on a free delivery service for home coffee brewing! Doing a delivery service actually saves us time because we can deliver anytime that works for our personal schedules! All of our coffee online is available to be delivered locally to Ava and Springfing residents for free! You must live in the city limits to have the free delivery. If you live outside the city but pretty close and you are interested, email us and we’ll figure out a low shipping cost!
